Privacy

Last updated: April 29, 2026.

Confessor is a small, independent project run from Israel. The seal of confession is real here — we are committed to keeping the contents of your conversations private, and the simplest way to do that is to never write them down at all.

What we do not store

We do not save the messages you send or the pastor’s replies. They are not written to a database, not kept in a log file we can read, and not retained after the request finishes. They live only in your browser tab while the page is open, and they are gone the moment you close or refresh.

This is by design. We will not introduce stored conversation history without first updating this page and asking you clearly.

What is sent to Anthropic

To generate the pastor’s reply, your message is sent in real time to Anthropic’s Claude API. Anthropic processes the message according to its own policies and, by default, does not train models on API data. We do not keep a copy on our side.

What we do count

We count anonymous request volume — the number of conversations and messages per day — so we can size the service and understand if people are finding it useful. These counts contain no message text, no user identifier, and nothing that could be linked back to a specific conversation.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs — IP address, user agent, timestamp — for a short period for security and debugging. These logs do not contain the contents of your messages.

Cookies and tracking

Confessor does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Children

Confessor is intended for users aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, please use the site only with the involvement of a trusted adult, and speak with a real person about anything serious.

Your rights

Because we do not store your conversations, there is no history for us to retrieve, share, or delete — there is nothing kept. If you have any privacy concern or request, you can reach us at support@confessor.life.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how we handle data, we will update this page and note the date at the top. Continuing to use Confessor after a change means you accept the updated policy.
